Easter Bunny Extravaganza 2009

Rachel had a really good day at school and she told me that she has instituted a new rule! Whenever she has a really good day, she gets to do something special. So, for her special treat we went to visit the Easter Bunny. I hope you enjoy our spur of the moment trip to the mall to see the Easter Bunny Helper. We hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Rachel Strikes Again....

This last Sunday Rachel had fun putting on a play. She made her own props, and even included Elijah. It switched from Little Red Riding Hood to The Three Little Pigs. She was the three little pigs and Elijah was the big bad wolf. This was so funny. Chad got home a little early today after a business trip and was doing some work from home when Rachel decided to strike again. She took advantage of the distraction and decorated her father for Valentine's Day. But she didn't stop with Chad. Elijah was once again the helpless victim! :) I had to get some pictures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. When Chad finally realized what happened he pretended to have a heart attack. You better be on your guard around her, or you just might be her next victim. :)

Big Adventures in Baby Land!

I took pictures and videos of some firsts for Elijah. He just went to the doctor for his check up and he weighed in at 15.6 pounds and 25 inches in length. He is in the 50th percentile for everything. The doctor asked if he has begun to roll over, and I said no. But of course she put him on the exam table and what does he do??? You got it, he rolled over. So I felt silly. We also had a big adventure eating for the first time this week. I got some pictures of him eating carrots. I also included a short video of our little boy bouncer. We got this bouncer from friends of ours...thanks Thad and Erika. It is so cute to watch his little legs that barely touch the floor bounce like crazy. Here is a little video of it, but I'll have to take another one because Chad doesn't think I caught him jumping very much. It's still cute though. I took these videos with my camera instead of the camcorder so they aren't great, but you get the picture!

THE BIG 7

Rachel turned 7! I can't believe how grown up she is getting. She was so excited about her birthday. She had her party at Happy Joe's Pizza and Ice Cream Parlor. The day was so cold they cancelled school, but that didn't detour all of the excited party goers. Here is a look at all of the fun.

Four Fun Filled Months!

I can't believe my baby is already four months old! Man time goes way too fast when you don't want it to! Here are his cute little four month photos! He may not appreciate the Pampers Photos when he grows up...but I sure do! :) There is nothing cuter than a naked baby!

Christmas is coming....

I don't know about you, but it sure seems like Christmas has come awfully fast this year! I have been rushing around trying to make last minute preparations before we make our way to Kansas. In all the rushing we did manage to take some photos. I will be sending out Christmas Cards...hopefully soon. So here is a sneak peak. We hope you will all make lasting memories this holiday season and share the love with others! Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving in Minneapolis, Minnesota with family. We had a lovely time with family and the spirit of Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for the many blessings we have been given in our lives. At this time of year we often think of the many things we are thankful for. Having a family that cares for me is one of the most important things I am thankful for. Watching each family member in the way they interact with one another and how their personalities come out in a family gathering is fun to behold. Little Rachel and Aiden played so well together. The basement looked like an explosion happened with all the fun Rachel and Aiden and Gavin had, but they will not remember the mess, they will remember the fun. Dianna brought "Guitar Hero" and we had a really fun time playing that game. No one will remember how bad we played or how bad we sang, they will just remember how much fun we had together as a family. The food was wonderful but the company was priceless.
